IL: Integrated Learning

The objective of this program is to integrate multiple learning methods in order to learn Web-based workflow models.

SIFT's work on the Integrated Learning (IL) program has provided experience learning, representing, and executing plans in military domains. SIFT, as a subcontractor to BBN, has just begun Phase 3 of this DARPA program led by Todd Hughes. The object of Integrated Learning is a system that, when given access to observations of a task being performed by a human operator, it can combine the results of separate learning components to learn a procedural representation of the task.

The third of four planned phases for IL will complete in 2010.
